ASSISTANT COMMUNITY BUSINESS MANAGER
REPORTS TO: COMMUNITY BUSINESS MANAGER

SUMMARY:
The Assistant Community Business Manager assists and supports the Community Business Manager in the operations of the community.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintains Onesite database with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness through data entry of invoices and rental income received
- Leads rent collection efforts with a goal of zero delinquency by the 10th of each month
- Participates in timely reporting and processing of 3-day Notices, evictions, and Final Account Statements
- Generates ideas for action plans to strengthen property operations utilizing the Investment Success Strategy tool
- Provides excellent customer service to internal and external customers, including prospects, residents and vendors
- Meets and exceeds weekly leasing goals and company standard closing ratios on a consistent basis
- Prepares service requests as needed, follows up to ensure timely/satisfactory completion
- Ensures timely payment to vendors
- Actively involved in ensuring first-class property curb appeal
- Adheres to the letter and spirit of Fair Housing laws
- Provides direction to the team in the absence of the Community Business Manager
- Completes tasks or projects as assigned by the Community Business Manager
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Intermediate to Advanced computer skills in MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook and Internet
- Experience with Industry Software such as Onesite, AMSI, or Rent Roll preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrates skills in leadership
- Professional presentation
EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING:
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
