Sequoia's Priority Reservations Club
Sequoia's Priority Reservation Club gives prospective residents first choice of apartment homes as they become available based on their selected move-in date.
Enrollment in the Priority Reservations Club provides you with substantial benefits without a major fee. A small deposit in the form of a check is taken and applied to your future security deposit. Our trained staff will make note of your apartment home preferences and selected time frame, and keep you informed as various options become available.
Other benefits include a standing invitation to attend community events, as well as enjoying special neighborhood savings.

Transferring within or to another Sequoia Community
As a valued Sequoia resident, you have the ability to transfer within your current community from one apartment home to another, or even to another Sequoia community during the term of your lease.
The ability to transfer to, from, or within certain Sequoia communities may be limited. Please see your local community office for details.
Transfers within the Community
- The Community Business Manager must approve the transfer.
- A Transfer Agreement must be completed.
- There must be a 30-day written notice and the resident is responsible for the rent for that 30-day period.
- We do not require a new security deposit for the apartment home that you are transferring to, in that any funds from your current apartment home (that you are vacating) will be assigned to the differential (if applicable) for the new apartment home (the security deposit amount will be determined by the number of bedrooms and other appropriate criteria). The administrative fee will be waived.
- All monies owed by the resident must be paid prior to the transfer.
- Transfer must be to a vacant or on-notice apartment.
- In order to transfer to another apartment, it will be necessary for a resident under any lease term to fulfill the above criteria.
- In order for the transfer to be approved, resident must be in good financial standing and current on all payments to Sequoia. The condition of the resident's current apartment must be such that it is acceptable to Sequoia and the terms of the lease.
Transfer to Another Sequoia Community
All criteria for transfers within a community (see above) must be met, as well as the following:
- A newly completed application must be provided to the new community.
- Any rent lost due to insufficient notice or other charges on the current apartment will be deducted from the Security Deposits and the remainder will be refunded. All monies owed by the resident must be paid to the original community before they are permitted to take occupancy of another apartment.
